Capacitors dissipate no power and add in the opposite way to resistors.
Any combination of capacitors in series can be represented
by a single capacitor of value C given by
1/C = 1/C1 + 1/C2 + 1/C3
for example.
Any combination of capacitors in parallel can be replaced
by a single capacitor of value C given by
C = C1 + C2 + C3
for example.
